"This is better than Christmas..."

... these are the words spoken by our new arriving missionaries as they wait patiently for their turn to open their "first area of assignment letter". They find out where they will serve, if they will learn a language and who their trainer will be.
Sister Tuilato'a (above) will serve in Tamuning area of Guam. Her trainer is Sister Anitema.

Elder Stewart will serve in Mand, Pohnpei and learn Pohnpean. His trainer is Elder Tadd.

Elder Shakespear will serve in Romanum Chuuk and learn Chuukese. His trainer is Elder Reiri.

Elder Nicerio will serve in Saipan. His companion is Elder Donakey

Elder Nelson will serve in the Yijo North area of Guam. His trainer is Elder Meldrum.

Elder Marshall will serve in Palau and learn Palauan. His trainer is Elder Wright.

Sister Kennach will serve in Yijo south area of Guam. Her trainer is Sister To'a

Elder Allred will serve in the Mechitew area of Chuuk and learn Chuukese. His trainer is Elder Johnson.

Welcome New Missionaries!

I'd be so nervous opening those letters! What an experience they're in for--it'll stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Wow. I've never thought about that side of being new in the field. I can just see the side of the parents reading that first email and saying, "where?" and then googleing where their son or daughter will be serving.

Great perspective from the other side of things.

How exciting and scary. I'd say not too many missionaries get to open two mission call letters!! Glad you were able to get some Missionaries I know you need them.
